About Us

We are a live music band that brings out sounds in the form of melodious and rhythmic tunes that make our audiences happy. The band has been operational since 2022 but was formerly organized in October 2023.The band is composed of instrumentalists and vocalists and our music is quite diverse and versatile. We seek to deliver an extremely customized music experience for all social and co-operate events. The Band Members

The band is made up of 12 members that consists of instrumentalists; pianist, saxophonists, trumpeter, violinist, guitarists, drummer and vocalists.

We are skillful in our art and the harmonies do tell of our mastery of music.

Meet the Founder

Sarah Moseti

Sarah the strategist, as much as she is the founder of the band, she calls herself the band strategist. A doctor by profession and an organizer at heart, she founded the Cleft and Sounds music band as a hobby to make events extremely immaculate and joyful for her friends. She would then quickly venture into events, specifically organising and curating music that is unique for her friends’ events. Her friends endorsed this unique venture to her and pushed her to organise a band.

Her victories: the band has played for 3 weddings, 1 marriage proposal, and has hosted 3 concerts; the journey still continues.

Well, the theme was cultural, the songs were kenyan but mostly complementary genre type of music. Those are different things. If need to find something close to cultural maybe something in touch to the first modern genres of kenyan music, zilizopendwa, old is gold.
